I was researching this for myself and thought I’d share:

Prices are for 4 x 8 (non-fold) cards except Kodak who only has 5 x 7. All have collage options and include envelopes. Any available discounts applied and reflected in cost per card.

Winkflash
23 cents each – any quantity
$2.99 shipping (add $2.99 for each additional 40 cards - i.e. 100 would be $8.97)
WZ48EG92 40 % off, exp 12/15

Shutterfly
52 cents each (50), 47 cents each (100), sold in sets of 25
$6.99 shipping (add $1.50 for each 25 extra)
no code – “limited time only

KodakGallery
60 cents each, sold in sets of 10
$6.99 (50) $10.99 (100) shipping, or you can pick up at a local store
Wasn’t able to find any discounts for regular cards
Note: Lots of options, lots of other styles (accordion fold etc. - cost extra), choice of envelope color

Snapfish
44 cents each (40), 45 cents each (100), sold in sets of 20
$5.99 (50) $8.99 (100) shipping
YOURCARD 20% off exp 12/10

HTH someone! I only looked at sites I’ve purchased from before (cards or prints). If anyone wants to add others, feel free to chime in!

Thanks for posting all that info! I've only ordered from Snapfish in the past and have been happy with the quality. I'd be interested to hear about the quality of the others -- especially Winkflash, since the price is so good.

I'd also be interested in people's experiences with using Costco for photo cards.

I just ordered my cards yesterday from Winkflash and my shipping was over $11. I looked on their website for clarification, shipping is $2.99 per 40 cards.

I ordered 70 5x7 photo cards (w/ envelope) yesterday from winkflash. They have a coupon code listed on their homepage

Subtotal $16.10
Shipping $5.98
Total $22.08

I used them last year and was very happy with the finished product, price and speed of delivery. My order has already shipped!

Winkflash can't be beat. The quality of the photos is very nice; comparable to Shutterfly, Snapfish and like sites.

Their 5x7s(prints) run $.29/each which is excellent if you're making your own cards. 4x6s are $.12/each.

We used Costco last year and we were very happy with our photo cards. The size is a little odd, 5x6, but we still liked them. They are $15.99 for the first 50 cards, then $5.99 for each additional 25 cards. If you order 75 cards, they are about .29 per card, 100 cards would be about .28 per card. The more you order, the less it is. Costco's service is through Snapfish.

The best thing is that there is no shipping if you live close enough to pick them up yourself. You can do everything online, then go to the store to pick them up.

We plan to use them again this year.

Thanks for the Costco pricing info. I am a member, but you need to sign up for the photo center to see the prices and I didn't really want to sign up if the quality was marginal. I've been happy with Costco's responsiveness in general and wouldn't think the photo processing would stay in business if customers weren't happy.

I find Costco to be much easier. I don't have to wait or pay for shipping. Plus the price is reasonable and we get all our cards from there. Does anyone know of the comparison between winkflash and costco?

Right now, Winkflash has a special at .23 per card until 12/15, but shipping is $2.99 per 40 cards. 80 cards would be about .30 per card. Costco would be about .29 for 75 cards, but you have to figure tax and you have to pick them up. I suppose they ship, but then they would be more per card.

Seems it's really comparable, at least until the 15th. After that, Costco would definitely be less.

I love that Costco gives gold lined envelope with the cards. We ordered 150 cards last week and picked them up less than two days later!

We were very happy with the quality of the Costco cards we've used in the past, but I went with Shutterfly this year because of the ability to create a photo collage. The Costco cards also limit you to 3 very short lines of text on the actual card and I wanted to include more text this year.
