I thought it was one month. I'd call and ask your care provider just to be on the safe side (or check the product insert or website).

Pretty sure it is one month as long as you have been consistent and taken it as directed.

I think it depends on what type of pill and when you start it (i.e. if you start it on the day your period starts or start it on a Sunday). I think some can be effective within 7 days, but I would really check with the insert or you OB/GYN to make sure.

I think it's 2 weeks, at least I *thought* that's what is was for mine (been a couple of years). I would call your doc though just to be *safe* :)

I just started Mircette and the package said it was "safe" the second week of pills. I was a little more cautions however!! :)
