I'd like to get one of those all-in-one machines that can print, scan, and copy (don't need faxing). We already have a laser printer and a 4x6 photo printer. I don't want to spend more than $100, preferably around $50, but I want it to be decent for making greeting cards and printing out things for DD for school.

Does anyone have one they would recommend? I bought one at Target today (Lexmark 1270) but I read some not-so-good reviews so I'm thinking of returning it. Thanks!!

I have an HP 4215 for my home office. It does have faxing capability but was only $80 or so - you can definitely find a good one for a small price!

don't get the lexmark. it's ok for scanning but not a good printer. i'd stick with hp or something on that level.

I have a HP 3180 that I got for $99. I've only had it 2 weeks, but am happy so far.

Funny you ask. I just bought one at Costco today for $78. It is an HP 3180 I think but I haven't installed it yet.

I was really just going in to get ink cartridges for our current one and it was the same price as just getting the new one.

We just recently bought the Canon Pixma 600. Got great reviews and I have talked to a lot of people that love canon printers, plus we've been very happy with our canon cameras and camcorders, so we felt comfortable with the brand. I love the new printer, and that I can copy and scan as needed.

We have an HP -- quality is great tech support has been TERRIBLE. It gives an out of paper message ALL THE TIME. Takes like 6 tries to print something. It is a KNOWN issue and was known BEFORE I got the all in one. I will never go HP again. I know they make good products but tech support has been TERRIBLE.

good luck!
