What size shoe does your DH wear?

My DH and I were talking about someone that I work with who has to special order her boots (she wears a size 1). Somehow, we ended up talking about average foot size and DH said that the majority of men wear a size 10 or larger. I told him that I had never known that to be true, so I would take a "scientific" poll here and see what the average size shoe for men was.

My dad is the only man I know who has a foot smaller than size 11. He's a 9, I think.

My DH wears a size 13 shoe. I think that he has huge feet but, his nephew wore a size 15 at 18 years old. My dad on the other hand wears a size 7.

i think dh has small feet at a size 9/9.5, most men that i have met are over a size 10.

My DH wears a size 10.5 my son who is 15 wears an 11. I don't know any guy who wears a size smaller than a 9.5

Ditto. My dad is on the short side too. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. DH wears a 13.

DH is around a 9 and my dad is probably close to that...but don't quote me on that one. I'm pretty sure his feet are smaller than DH's, though or the same size. And my brother is probably in the 9 range as well.

Of course, my dad is 5'5" (he's shrunk some), my DH is 5'8" and my brother is 5'5" so none of them are very big men. DH's cousins and uncle and dad and grandfathers are/were probably all way larger than size 9, though!

I voted for "size 10 or larger", but DH wears a size 10, so not "larger". I always thought he had a small*er* foot for a guy.

I wear a 7.5 (which I think is pretty average. DD has ridicularly small feet (if you really care, she's nearly a year old and wears a size 2. infant. yeah, her fat little chub feet are taller than they are long.). My mom has really small feet (5.5), but she's also really short (4 foot 11), so it sort of makes sense.

which suggests the average shoe size for a man is a 9.5. That seems pretty small to me, DH wears a 10.5 (he's 5 ft 10 in tall), Dad wears a 10.5 (6 ft 2 in) and my brother wears a 11 (6 ft 4 in).

BTW, when googling for shoe size, you get some links to the size for something else--unexpected!

DH wears a 9 and he's average height. His brother wears something like an 8. Of course, he thinks it's hysterical that I wear a 10 and thus I have bigger shoes than he does. One day BIL actually put my shoes on and clomped around like a kid wearing his mommy's shoes. I was less than thrilled...

DH is 6'1" and wears a 12. I'm 5'3" and wear a size 8.5-9. I have freakishly large feet for my height. I kept hoping it meant I would keep growing taller. No such luck.

DH wears a size 10.5. I wear a size 11! I'm not hugely tall, 5'8", but my Dad liked to say I would fall over if my feet weren't so big in proportion. Thanks Dad. I know, not what you asked...I always thought DH's feet were about average size. He's 5'10".

My dad is 5'11" and wears an 8.5EEE. My brother is 6' and wears an 8.5-9. I don't know why the men in the family have such small feet!

My DH, otoh, wears a 13.

My DH wears a 7, he's 5'4". We wear the same size shoe since I wear a 9.

My Dad is around 5'7"-5'8" and wears a 9.5. DH is almost 6'1" and wears a 12.

My DH is only 5'7" (at least, that's what he claims -- I think he's more like 5'5"), and he wears a size 11 shoe. I jokingly call him Sasquatch. :D

My DH is only 5'11 and he wears a size 14!!! It is a pain trying to find shoes for him.... it's a really good thing he isn't picky though!

My dad's 5'10" with size 10s, DH is 6'2" with 10.5s. A lot of DH's friends his height wear 11 & 12s

Don't tell DH that I voted!

I am the first under size 7 vote. Ugh. He is just a small person with small feet. He wears a 6.5. Fortunately, we can get around the special order or really expensive shoe problem by buying Boys size 6 shoes, which are equivelent to a Mens 6.5.

I am so happy that DS is in a 10 already at 2.5. I really want him to have my feet (size 9.5) rather than DH's!
