I was surfing the Internet last night and came across the discussion forums at Wilton Cakes. A lot of these ladies post pictures of the cakes they have made. Some of them were really neat!! I was inspired and really enjoyed reading some of the threads. I thought I would share in case anyone hadn't seen this before. Here is the link http://www.wilton.com/forums/categories.cfm?catid=4

Note: Some of the ladies said they also posted in the Cake Doctor discussion forums. I haven't looked that one up yet but if you like Wilton.com you might try the Cake Doctor's website too.

have you been to coolest-birthday-cakes.com? someone posted it on here just in time for my baby's 1st bday last may, and i got the best ideas for cakes there. it's awe-inspiring just to go look at all of the different themed cakes.

Wow, thanks for posting these websites everybody. I used to do relatively elaborate cake decorating (but still nothing compared to these) and I would like to get into it again as my girls get older.

Some of these cakes are unbelievable.

I saw that one!! Wow! It was pretty imaginitive :-).

They all look complicated and hard but I keep thinking if they can do it I could do it too with a little practice. What a neat skill to have too! Now, I just have to find the time :-)
