My email won't go through to you for some reason! Here's my answer:

By the way, congrats :-)

Here's what I did - i opened each photo I wanted to use and then
cropped it. From there I chose frames (make sure you're viewing
styles and effects under window). I double clicked Drop Shadow 1st
and then when that was done I double clicked Photo Corners. Click OK
if you're asked to flatten.

I did this for each photo first and then resized each to about 2.5"
and 300 resolution. Once I had all of the pics done I created my
master file and dragged each indiv picture onto it.

I've always had trouble w/ getting drop shadows alone to "stay" when
I move the pics whereas the photo corners did stay! Has something to
do w/ the flattening.

Laura,

You are going to laugh! I convinced myself that you must have done it yourself, really really from scratch, so I did a gray box around the picture, then a white box around the picture, but leaving a little so you could see the grey. I got stuck trying to make right triangles to put into the corners!!! I am totally laughing at myself here!

I went with something different, but thank you for telling me, because I really like the pics framed that way and will use in the future. I bought and learned how to use PS Elements and made our card, all last night. I already know how to use Photoshop, but I like that Elements is more user friendly and seems to know what we want for these type of projects, IYKWIM!

I will post my creation later - DS is using the computer that it is stored on.

Thanks again Laura!!!

There are things I would change (for one, more drop shadow around the letters) but I am exhausted, so I am DONE!

Your card is awesome! I, for one...couldn't figure out how to get the drop shadow to stay when I moved my pics over...so i'll be playing with that to figure it out!

We all learn from one another!

Very nice! I like the drop shadows as-is around the letters - punches them out without looking *shadowy*, KWIM?

Your DS is adorable!!!
