Our new neighbors just brought over some gifs including a cookie tin filled with the yummiest assortment of homemade cookies. If any of you remember my post about whether or not to spend Thanksgiving with our neighbors, it's the same ones. And we DID spend Thanksgiving with them. And had a great time.

Looks like we have some new friends (and ones that can bake to boot!) Woo hoo! Made my day.

Reading your post made me so happy. We took cookies to our neighbors last year and DH wanted to do it again this year. I was afraid that it was a cheesy gift. We don't have a ton of extra money to buy gifts with, and we don't know our neighbors really well, but we wanted to do something for them. Now I am feeling better about our baking efforts. Hopefully they were/are as appreciative as you are.
