I was thinking of buying some for my mom for Christmas, and I went searching for a good price. Now I realize there are many many different types of reusable bags, e.g.: http://www.reusablebags.com/store/shopping-bags-c-2.html?osCsid=5cd1e01d5e4e9e793b53c9f9f423d24a

I've just been using some cloth ones from TJ's. Those are only $3/bag, which seems to be cheaper then most on that website, but do people really have preferenes? Are the mesh ones better? What about those big green ones from WFM that are $2 (more of a nylon material then cloth?)? I like that I can throw my cloth ones in the washing machine. But other ideas?

I have a collection of bags from Whole Foods. They sell them for $1-2. They are giving the proceeds of the current one to our local food bank so I bought a few of them. I have never tried to wash these but I like them. They are roomy and durable.

My mom used to use the mesh ones when I was little. Hated them because sometimes things would poke out or fall out.

We use the ones from TJ's plus one that I got from work. They all work well.

I have really cheap ones that I bought at TJMaxx or some such place for about $3 a piece a few years ago. I think they were meant as beach bags. They are a really fine mesh, which I like because I can just rinse them in the kitchen sink if they get yucky. They air dry super fast. Also the handles are long enough to wear a bag on my shoulder which is handy when I need to hold DS' hand and open doors, etc.
