Thanks so much, Guys! I'm so tickled to have been asked, and I know we're in very good company with the rest of the mod gang. Is that like the mod squad? Well, groovy, whatever the case ;-)

I have gotten so much out of this board. So, so much. Began as a big time lurker, and boy did I feel prepared when I got pregnant with my DS. Then so much good advice while I was pregnant with him. Once we had him, there were countless queries I was stumped with, so, I figured, off to the BBB, and sure enough, this community of folks came thru for me time and time again. When I was ready to go get a hammer and kill the Peg stroller from hell, it was one of you guys who told me what I needed to know. When I thought for sure my hair would never stop falling out, you guys told me you'd been there done that. When I was positive I had too much stuff in DS's crib, I learned that, in fact, DS had competition for most eclectic crib companions. So, now, I'm just thrilled that I can give back for a while.

Your distaste for the Mods and how 'management' handled here is well documented. I'm not sure a) why you continue to stick around if you're so offended, or why b) you feel the need to keep jabbing away about it.

So, please either take it up with the Fields directly, or stop with the running commentary.

It's not beneficial to anyone here, and it certainly is an obnoxious way to 'welcome' Erica and Hilary.

That is correcct---we always have an open door policy. Call or email us to discuss any problem you have with the boards, our mods, our books, etc. We are always willing to listen.

If you don't like the rules of this board or how a mod enforces them, contact us directly. Criticizing the mods (who are volunteers) by posting on this board is not appropriate. We will delete such future threads and ask the posters to contact us directly with concerns.

Good gosh, I missed something, obviously, while I was working. I can glean from the stuff not deleted that a few folks are a tad bit displeased at the appointment of myself, Erica or both. Gosh, I'm real sorry to hear it, but I'm not sorry to be here. I consider myself fortunate to be a part of the BBB, and I plan to be the same person tomorrow as I was yesterday.

I join Erica in her request that those displeased give us a chance before judging, but I also want to add that we're just regular people, and we're bound to make a mistake or, ya know, maybe a second one, too. Until then, let's all peace out, huh?
