Would this be weird to do?

I recently had some picture taken of DS at Picture People...and they were running some Valentine's Day promo where you get wallets and those photo cards to put the wallets in.

Well DS will be two a week after Valentine's Day and we are thinking about having a party for him right around then as well. Would it be stupid to send out the Valentine's Day photo card we got to people as a Happy Valentine's Day card and a party invite as well? I kind of thought I could save myself the trouble and just send out one card...and seeing that a photo card might be more meaningful than a invitation.

Has anyone done something like this or is it just lame?

I don't think it would be weird at all. I think it is a cute idea. I know I love to get pictures of kids we know.

Payton's second birthday invite included a picture of him holding a wooden '2' I had painted. It went over really well-- friends & family liked having the picture to keep on the fridge (or wherever such things get put!).

I say do it :)
