OT - Need quick Birthday Gift Idea for MIL

DH is NO help and I just feel wiped out after Christmas and can't focus enough to figure something out. This happens every year you'd think I would learn.

Her birthday is Thursday and I don't even know where to begin. She loves jewelry and perfume and shiny lipstick.

If you know me...she is my opposite in every sense, well we are both overweight but other than that, different. She is 51 this year.

For Christmas we got her a bracelet with the kids pics in it and a framed photo of my DC with DN.

Can you help? I need a personal shopper, lol.

Hmmm, I can only tell you what we got my MIL. This year it was a sweater from Sierra Trading Post, last year it was a thick terry robe (I got the same one LOL!), we've also given her flowers, or at least a flowering plant.

I always leery about giving perfume or makeup unless I really know what they want. Tastes are so objective.

Yeah opposite of me there too, she hasn't left the state since 1976. I can't even imagine!

The robe might be a good idea! She was always in her nightgowns when we'd drop DD off (when she watched her) I was thinking about flowers. DH's best suggestion? A gift card to the grocery store, sigh. Thanks!

My MIL is kind of a tough cookie when it comes to birthdays so I bookmarked this page for when DD is old enough to actually draw. They make charms out of your child's drawings. They are kind of pricey but would be unique.
ETA- Eeekkk! Just looked these up again and they have really gone up from when I first saw them. Don't know if I'd spend THAT much on MIL's b-day present! Maybe Christmas?
