What did you have to do for him/her? Did anyone end up getting surgery? How were the results? Did anyone's of your child's ptosis resolve itself later in life? The reason I'm asking is b/c my son has severe ptosis of the right lid and it's been giving him some trouble. We've been patching several hours a day and even went thru surgery when he was about 1 but the results were only so-so. Now that he's 2.5 years old, the ped ophthomologist recommended glasses b/c she suspects astigmatism and a possible re-do of the surgery. We've been praying about it but are just curious what others did and how everything turned out. We need to make the decision soon re: whether or not to pursue surgery since we're moving south in 5 months and most of the specialists are up here. <sigh> Sometimes parenting can make you old.....but we are so thankful that it's not life-threatening or anything! :) TIA!
