Has anyone ever filed moving expenses on their tax return? I'm wondering if I can put down the full price of a trailer we bought to move(which was comparable to just renting a U-Haul, but a few hundred dollars more), or if I should just get a quote from U-Haul and use that. I don't know much about this, and could use some help. I called IRS, and spoke to a supervisor and he wasn't even sure if I could write-off the trailer or not. He told me that I could be audited. Has anyone ever been audited? Thanks for any help!!
