Never watched the British version, only the US.

I'll have to think on episodes but I *love* the part from the "Grief Counseling" episode when they are sharing deaths of people the loved and they describe movie plots. That cracks me up! Just watched the rerun and it still made me laugh.

"Casino Night" is up there too, especially for the ending. :)

My friend loves Dwight and as an anniversary present her dh bought her a Dwight bobble head. He had to order it months earlier and she says it is one of the best presents she ever got. Personally I love Jim and Stanley. :)

The Injury! I love where Michael is explaining how he got the injury (I like to wake up to the smell of bacon), and then where Ryan sneaks aspirin into his pudding. Oh, and "Stop popping my cast!" And um, pretty much the entire episode.

YES YES YES YES...
This is the best one ever... Michael cooking his foot on the George Forman grill... priceless... I can only imagine how slimy bacon is once it has been sitting out overnight...

Definitely the one with the Grill.

"DON'T SEND DWIGHT!!!"

My fave character is hands-down, Stanley. His thing about Pretzel Day is just hilarious. ;) Also when he takes Ryan with him to make sales calls, and Ryan asks him to sit back and let him do the talking. I don't think I've laughed so hard in such a long time.

Toby is another fave. I love how he's just so resigned to taking the crap. When he was talking to Dwight about how he's not allowed to bring roadkill into the office, and how they had the discussion about it in the past was just beyond can't-breathe-funny.

I can't pick a favorite episode. I love, love, love the show. I like everything the PPs have mentioned. The recent episode with the cell phone in the ceiling was great. I keep meaning to check out the British version too.

I love Toby, too. I loved the one where they thought the Scranton branch was going to close and he said he thought he'd take his severance and move to Costa Rica and learn to surf. But then the Stamford branch closed instead, and he says "Costa Rica will still be there <long pause> when I'm 65."

We watched the British Version last year- it was funny to see how close the cast resembled each other. It's very funny, but I think I like the American version much better.

I love Dwangela. Greatest couple ever.

She keeps a myspace page.. (So do a bunch of cast members) She posts pictures and tells little behind the scenes things on her blog. (So does Jenna)

I'm such a geek.

I get all jumpy with excitement whenever there's a a "chemistry" scene between Jim and Pam. I hope they draw that out as long as possible.

DH and I rented the British version DVDs a few years ago. Hilarious, but hard to watch too many back to back. Ricky Gervais's boss portrayal is so brilliantly funny and believable that it makes me uncomfortable that anyone can be such an ass.

I have only seen the original British version, and I completely agree with your assessment of Ricky's performance. Bloody Brilliant!

I heart Jim and Pam, too. I like how they've managed to keep the tension after last season's finale.

I have a question.
In the British version, someone is supposedly making a documentary about life in the office. What is the explanation for the "talking to the camera" bits in the US version? Have they ever explained that?

The same thing- it's a documentary.

DH and I are BIG fans. :p

I hadn't heard about the myspace page I'll have to check that out, thanks! ;) I still need to see the British version.

I love the characters and their relationships. My fav episode is probably Dwights Speech. "Blood alone moves the wheels of history!" with him banging his fists (too funny). My fav part is during his speech when he realizes people are getting into it. He throws back his head an does this amused "Yeah, Yeah" like ain't I great?!

I love the part (Casino Night) where Dwight kisses Angela on the cheek after rolling the dice and she slaps him. Dwight stares at her like he's aroused as she walks away. DH and I always look at each other when that happens lol!

DH's fav part is the office fire when Dwight karate punches open the emergency spray thingy (sorry, brain fart).

There's a few parts with Ryan the temp (I can't remember the episode names) that gets me ROTFL when he's talking alone to the camera. One is after he hears Angela tell Dwight in the kitchen "there will be no cookie" and Ryan just sits there with this shocked/disgusted expression.

I enjoy the relationship with Pam and Jim. I like when they have fun messing with Dwight. Dwight walks into the room wearing a tuxedo and Jim says "How long is the wait for a table for two?" and then they play a trick on him and Pam secretly moves the coat rack while Jim's pretending to move it himself by mind control. The one where he puts Dwights stapler in jello, puts his desk supplies along with his wallet into the vending machine, when he's missing his desk and Jim tells him hot or cold and he finds it in the bathroom. the drug testing one when Dwights interviewing Jim and Jim turns it around on him and says "you told me I was going to conduct this interview, now how much pot did you smoke!?"

I haven't seen all of season 3 cause we don't have TV. We go to MIL's to watch the tivo and some of them don't record. Grr

Also love the episode where Jim sends Dwight information from 'future Dwight' every morning.

The one where they decide to tell Dwight that he's been accepted by the CIA and will be picked up by helicopter on the roof of Dundler Mifflin is hilarious.

The first season, the show really was kind of 'off'. I'm so glad they have found their stride!

Kristen (fortato),

Would you post some links to those myspace blogs. I'm not sure how to find it. I keep getting a list of people "talking" about The Office.

Thanks so much!
