Carpet sweeper

Where can I get one of these. You know, like what they use in restaurants to clean up crumbs off the carpet. Does anyone have one and do they really work? I don't know why my rugs are always so dirty since we all take our shoes off in the house but really they could use a vacuum every day. But DS1 is afraid of the vac noise and DS2 sleeps in our room right off of the family room so I can't really vacuum at night. Looking for a quick quiet option so I can use it more often.

We got one at Target. It was cheap and is very simple, so not much to break. Works OK.

We got one at Target as well. It's called Real Simple. You'll find it with the mops, usually on the bottom shelf. It comes in a box. You just screw the parts together (like a Swiffer). It works great when you don't have time to vacuum and need to quickly clean up. I love how it picks up goldfish crackers easily. I wouldn't give up my vacuum though.

BTW, I don't recommend the Swiffer carpet flick. It didn't work for us at all.
