Masyn's mom had her baby!!!

Woo hoo!! Apparently she had her c-section scheduled for today. She went in yesterday for her amnio and was told that his lungs weren't developed enough, given steroids and they rescheduled for next week. She was home for a few hours and her water broke. :) She ended up having a c-section last night. That little boy would NOT be denied!!

His name is Mercer and he weighs 11 pounds!!! (Thank God she had a c-section!!) Apparently they are both doing fine and his lungs are in better condition than they anticipated, so no respirator or NICU. I want to go visit, but Eleanor threw up a couple of times this morning, so I figure I had better not.

Thanks again for all your prayers and good thoughts for her and her family. I know how much they meant to her.

I know someone who goes by Mercer! I suspect it's a family last name given as a middle name and used as a first name, which is quite a common tradition around here. Anyway, Mercer and Masyn fit so well together. Congratulations to the whole family.
