digital camera rec?

Hi all,

Looking to buy a digital camera for my mom. She's not very technology savvy so it needs to be super easy to use and have a large viewing screen. Not looking to spend more than about $200. Does anyone have any recommendations? Anything you use personally and like? I've had my digital camera so long I'm sure there is something better out there. TIA!

I got the Canon A630 for Christmas and I love it. The Canon A540 is a smaller version and supposed to be very good. It is in your price range. The Canon SD600 is also really nice. My cousin recently took it to Europe and came back with amazing pictures.

Ditto on the Cannon. I have the Elph SD 630 and love love love it. My 4 year old takes great pics with it... It may be a little over $200, but it is really worth it.
