? - going to NYC on Sunday

We are taking our ds to see Sesame Street Live on Sunday. I am trying to decide if we should take the train/subways to get to Madison Sqaure Garden or just drive and pay to park at/somewhere near the Garden?

If we do take the train should I take my stroller?

Any advice from other tri-state area/NYC moms would be greatly appreciated.

I grew up in Hoboken NJ, and we didn't even own a car, so we always took the train into the city. As an living there I had a car, but would generally avoid driving into the city at all costs. The traffic is usually nuts and the parking is expensive. The traffic won't be much of an issue on a Sunday, though.

I generally always take my stroller into the city with DS. He will only walk so long and sometimes I need to have him strapped in when we are walking on very crowded streets.
