fashion question-is pink still in fashion?

I'm out of the loop for fashion and seldom dress up but we have a wedding in june and easter and I have an outfit. I bought it at lane bryant and it's nice,it's just that I went with the trends and bought a pink sweater and a pink skirt. Not to go together though. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me if pinks still in style or do I need to go buy a new top/skirt. Thanks so much.

I'm no fashion maven but I don't think you'll be committing a major fashion disaster by wearing pink. I think it'll go really well for Easter and a summer wedding.

IMHO, if you like pink and like the way you look in it, then it's in. I don't care how in style yellow is, I would look jaundiced in it. Pink is naturally flattering to almost everyone. Go for it!

Pinks with browns are still very "in" as far as I know. Might you throw some brown in there for contrast? IMO, I don't really care what's "in" or not. If I love it, I wear it. I love pink, so I wear it and I don't care what anyone says - I'm not really out to impress anyone, so why bothering wondering if it's in or out. Well, i do draw the line at eighties style peplums/big collars/shoulder pads cuz I don't have a Delorean, LOL!
