Is it gift subscription worthy?

And a little FYI; check out the freebie page, sample HEAD hair products are available.

They had 2 issues for free at my Whole Foods this fall (one was right around Christmas and had wonderful Christmas gift ideas!). I really liked it.

If you are interested in natural living and parenting it is a really good magazine, imo. Good recipes too.

Their website says if you subscribe now a portion of your subscription will go towards World Vision- that is a nice bonus.

It is shorter than a magazine like Parents but it has a good amount of content. I would get a gift subscription.

If you're looking for a gift subscription for someone who is into organic, healthful living, you might want to try Mother Earth News, http://www.motherearthnews.com/ My husband loves it.

I thought it was a little fluffy...I am by no means a really crunchy person and I already knew almost everything I read in the 2 issues I have picked up. Also I thought it was really heavy on product placement, like in the sample meal plans they were mentioning specific brands of organic milk (Horizon, actually, which is known to have some pretty shady, non-organic practices), so that really turned me off.
