Anyone ever used Geek Squad (at home)

Our computer is starting to act up so I want to have it looked at. We bought it at Best Buy a few years ago so I figured I'd give the Geek Squad a shot. I don't think I can manage taking the computer and the 2 kiddos into the store, but I don't know if it's worth the extra money having them come for a house visit.

Any BTDT?

We haven't ever used them, but I know someone who used to work for them. An friend of a friend that we've met maybe twice, so take it for what it's worth. He's a total techie and was spectacularly unimpressed with the whole organization. Too much pressure to do things other than fix computers (sell warranties, etc.) and not enough emphasis on fixing the computers correctly in a reasonable period of time. He didn't feel that most of the employees were well trained/knew what they were doing, either. Plus, they're expensive.

Like I said, he was a former employee, so take it for what it's worth.
