Did anyone else catch the ad for Soylent Green on NPR this morning? Something along the lines of "The Soylent Corporation. Making high protein nutrients in a variety of colors. Soylent Green...is people." How the announcer guy kept a straight face, I'll never know.

Marketplace did a good one but came clean because it was actually the premise of a satirical novel-

"voluntary transition" for baby boomers to save on retirement costs.

My favorite NPR one ever was a few years back when they did a whole article on the fad of young women having their belly buttons removed in order to have a smooth line above their low rider jeans. Better canvas for belly tattoos too. :P I was rolling on the floor.

If you have Gmail, there is notice of a new feature that will print out your emails and mail them to you in 2 to 4 days. When I saw it earlier, I thought it was kind of odd, but now reading this thread, I know it's an April Fool's joke!
