DH just got an email from a division of his former employer. They had a job open up and wanted to extend an offer to him because they liked his work and thought he would be great for the job. (The email made me very proud of him, btw!) We just moved here 15 months ago and we bought a house 3 months ago. Realistically, there is no way we could move back right now. The cost of living is so much less here, houses are a lot less, no state income tax, his job has great benefits, etc. On the other hand, I got a really excited about it! I wasn't in love with the area while I was there, but now I am missing it. It was much much closer to family and friends. Maybe it's just because DH has been working crazy hours lately but I kind of want to explore this option. Yeah, I know, I am completely crazy! Just had to get this out, kwim?
