So, I was at a get together over the weekend and there was a new baby there. I got to talking to the mom and this lil baby was born on her due date. So was Tess. I thought statistically only 5% of babies were born "right on time". Funny how there would be 2 at the same party.

So, just curious in this community...how many of us had babies born on their due dates?

Mine came 6 days before my due date, one day before the scheduled c-section. It was not fast enough.

not even close! :) Almost 10 weeks early. I knew I'd go "early" with twins...just not THAT early. I don't know anyone that's had a baby on their due date.

I was born on my due date.

With DD, I went into labor on her due date but she didn't come 'til the next day. Is that close enough?

It was the first and last thing Thatch did "right on time"! We were very surprised - we had laughed at our doc when she changed the due date from Sept. 9 to the 10th partway through.

Depends, are we talking the due date _I_ calculated or the one that the dr's office calced? Based on my ovulation date, DS was born on his due date, but according to the DR's office, he was 1 week late. Hah. Shows how much they know!

Ironically, at work I was known for being really type-A and strict on due dates on projects. The day before my due date I told them that I guess for once I was going to be late on something as nothing was happening. At 8:30 that night my water broke, contractions started 3 hours later and DD was born at 1:52pm on her due date!

Will was born at 12:30 am on his due date - so he waited it out to be on time.

DS1 was two days early by the doctor's office, right on by my calculations. DS2 was on his due date - barely made it by about 30 min.

DD had two due dates, the original, based on my LMP, and the second one, based on the first ultrasound. She came on the first - LMP due date.

My friend had twins twice and the first time she got to 37.5 weeks before they did the c/s and the second time she went past 38 weeks before they did the c/s.

I was induced 2 days before for K and M came on her own one day before her due date.

No lie: both my DSs were born on their due dates. And this after I spent the entire pregnancy (both of them) telling people it didn't matter what my due date was because (1) they're highly inaccurate and (2) only 5% of babies are actually born on their due date.

Made me look silly. :D

Joshua was born on his due date. I think Hannah would have been if I hadn't begged them to break my water 2 days earlier :)
