iphoto help needed!!!!!!!

So there is something wrong with the thumbnail cache in iphoto. There are a bunch of photos that just don't show up and when I scroll by those pictures (or lack thereof) the program crashes. How can I fix this? I can't even figure out how to deleter them.

Any hints?

I'm not sure which version of iPhoto you're running, but try this. Hold down option and command (apple key) and then start iPhoto. You will see a Rebuild Photo Library window. Try the first option "Rebuild the photos small thumbnails." If that doesn't fix it, relaunch iPhoto holding down Command and Option and try "Rebuild all of the photos' thumbnails." If that still doesn't do it, try "Rebuild the iPhoto Library database." Hope this works!
