How long before your baby's acne went away?

my 1 month old DS developed baby acne about 2 weeks ago. I know this occurs as he gets rid of my hormones- but how long before it goes away?

My DS's was gone by 2 months, but if it really bothers you, you can ask your pedi to prescribe a cream. We got it, but I was afraid to use it too much, although it did help a little.

DS #2 never got the baby acne and I really think it is b/c I exclusively used the Arbonne baby products (shampoo/body wash, lotion, etc.). He also never got cradle cap, which my first DS had both for several months.

My DS had horrible baby acne - my ped had us use Aveeno - fragrance free soap and lotion. It cleared up by 10 weeks. He also had/has eczema, cradle cap and is allergic to perfumes in many products. So, we have been pretty diligent about no fragrances in products and keeping him clean and dry. I would notice that when DS would get hot and sweaty the baby acne would really get bad.
