Carrying DS on your hips..does it hurt them?

hmm, oops, never gave any thought to it. my instinct tells me tho that if the grown man variety has such an instant, ferociously vocal response to it, that you'd know if DS wasn't comfortable. fwiw, my DS hip carries all the time, both in the sling and out and it's never seemed to be an issue for us. don't feel silly. you don't have the bits to know for yourself, so it only seems like a natural mama response to me to want to make sure your DS is comfortable once the thought occured.

Yeah, I agree with Lori. I've heard some hilarious stories about boys treat their parts so I'm sure it's fine. Fwiw, I've never worried about it either and don't recall him ever complaining.

I think the diaper acts as a pretty good cushion.

Feeling super silly for even posting this question...but I need reassurance I'm not harming my DS's future fertility, lol! So, DS is just starting to be able to be carried on my hip, but I worry about squishing his parts there. Doesn't that hurt them? I know that if it really hurt him he would cry, but it seems like it would be uncomfortable!

Does anyone else ever worry about this?
