ETA- we charged $.50 for the lemonade, $.25 for cookies and brownies and $.50 for the brownies that I cut really big on purpose. Ds made $15. It was looking real grim for the 1st 45 minutes. Just his g'pa and our neighbor stopped in that time. But, we got a flurry of activity, including the UPS driver. :)

I think he had a ton of fun! He lasted 1.5 hours. He plans to donate some of the money to the rainforest. :) I have all the poster board signs saved- and I bought 12 bottles of WF organic lemonade- so we'll probably do it again at the end of the summer.

Would $.50 be too high? What's the going rate you have seen? Cookies and brownies will be $.25, I think.

I say 50 cents is fine. that's what the neighborhood kids charge. And I inevitably give $1.00- or more if collecting for something like alex's (often $20).

I think $.50 is fine. Kids around here often charge a $1 if it is for charity. I'd charge $.50 for cookies and brownies, too.

I'd charge 50 or 75 cents for the brownies/cookies and 25 cents for the lemonade (how large is the serving?).

Actually haven't seen one of these in years, so, I would say depends on the size of the cup. Little dixie cup only .25, anything bigger .50. I'd charge .50 for the cookie/brownie, depending on size. Can't recall your DC age, but since these are little kids I think people will pay more.

I'd call .50 cents a bargain! I would charge 50 cents for the baked items too or even 75 cents.

Thats great - sounds like fun, and I like that you priced everything fair. We have a couple little girls (8 and 13??) down the street and they have lemonade stands every so often, but they charge around $2 per cup or something ridiculous. and they sell plain pencils for a dollar. I drove by with a dollar thinking I'd get a glass or two, and ended up with a lousy pencil.

Congrats on the good day !!
(brownies sound good...yummmmm)
