Well, no real news, but we did the CT yesterday and it went great. They ended up not having to sedate Joey at all. They said that they wanted to just try to lay him down, and see if he would hold reasonable still for the three minute scan. Dh and I were like: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b27/kellip/hysterical1.gif[/IMG] However, they wrapped him up in this velcro wrap, and gave dh a jingle ball stick to shake, and Joey did great. They only had to re-scan a small part of his head due to movement, and the whole scan only took 5 minutes.

The radiologist gave no clue as to the results of the scan, but I assume if it was something alarming they should have sent us immediately over to the neuro-surgeon. So, no news if hopefully good news. We have our follow-up apt next week with the surgeon.

i hope the good news keeps coming. i'm so impressed that they were able to get his scan w/o sedation. sam's took more like 30 min, but still, even 5 min still at that age is miraculous. i think you're right. if there had been something catastrophic going on, you wouldn't have been allowed to take him home/sent straight to admitting. all of sam's films have been 'wet read' prior to sending us home, so hopefully joseph is getting out of this pickle in good shape!

update us when you can if you'd like to share. as you can see, you're in lot's of ppl's thoughts around here :)
