Corie - Any update on Knox's stomach bug?

Hey Allison!!

Thanks for thinking of us!

All of his blood tests came back normal. Negative for Celiac Disease.
His urine culture was negative as well.
Thank goodness!!

So, now we just continue with his Zantac. His pediatrician prescribed
Zantac for him. He takes it twice a day. So far so good.

(If he gets sick again, we are being referred to a Pediatric Gastroenterologist.)

I'm really hoping the Zantac does the trick!! :)

I'm glad to hear it wasn't Celiac. It makes life difficult with all the dietary restrictions. I have a friend who's son is the same age as my older DS and they have learned to live with it but it was tough in the beginning! Hopefully whatever it was it's DONE now for a while!

I also wanted to say that a friend of mine, for some reason when they moved, she and her kids got stomach bugs ALL the time. Then at some point it just stopped. Maybe they had different "BUGS" or ???.... eventually they stopped getting them so frequently. She was relieved!

Hopefully Zantac helps him out!

The doctor didn't really think it was Celiac but he tested Knox for it anyway.
He said that Knox probably wouldn't be gaining weight steadily if he had
Celiac Disease.

But, I hear what you are saying. A friend of mine in Texas was recently
diagnosed with Celiac Disease and she is having a rough time.

We are really hoping that the stomach bugs stop!! I can only handle
so much vomitting!! Yuck!
