I have a close friend who's oldest DD is the same age as our oldest DD (they're 2 weeks apart). They are having a puppy theme for her birthday & I have NO idea what to get her DD. I mean, it's not like Blue's Clues puppy or anything, just puppies. Does anyone have any ideas on cute puppy themed gifts? I don't even know where to begin. I mean, I guess I could just get her a game or books or something but I'd like to incorporate her theme somehow, you know.

Hmm, we had a fish party for DD's 2nd birthday and it never occurred to me that people would think gifts would need to be of the same theme.

but if you want to, maybe some Clifford stuff?

There are some good puppy books out there:
The Pokey Little Puppy
Sandra Boynton's "My Puppy Book" (probably too young)
That's Not my Puppy

They make a puppy sticker book:

Maybe Target has a good puppy puzzle?

Good luck!

Oh those are good ideas. I like the books & the sticker book is cute. I totally forgot about the Pokey Little Puppy, love that book. Thank you!

We did a puppy theme for DS's birthday, but I never considered that people would feel the need to get puppy related presents. That said, depending on the age of the girl, maybe some of the Littlest Pet Shop things?
