I'll be in Highland Park next week and I need to rent a scale to weigh DS before and after he nurses - do you know of any places that rent them?

Right now I have my lactation consultants - but I need to give it back to her before we go out of town.

TIA!!!!

I'm not a Chicago Mom, but I found this info for you on the Medela website:

http://medela.findlocation.com/results.aspx?Flag2666=Y&postalcode=&city=highland%20park%20&state=IL&Search_Param=N10&Active=Y&WebSearch=Y

It's from their National Breastfeeding Network and is a list of the 10 nearest dealers to Highland Park, IL from which you can rent a Medela baby scale.

I worked with this LC when I had DS. She rents them:

However, she's in the western burbs, so not exactly convenient for Highland Park.

DD - coming this summer!

Perhaps the lactation consultants at Highland Park Hospital would have one to rent? In fact, I know that they do this. Just try to catch them during the week; when I gave birth there 4 years ago they didn't work weekends. The switchboard is 847-432-8000.

Or the local LLL group may be able to help:
