shameless mojo request....PC surgery monday!

PC has his first surgery to repair his cleft lip/palate this monday morning! I'm nervous and excited at the same time. At this first procedure they will bring the two sides of his largely clefted left upper lip together and do the first internal rhinoplasty. he is also undergoing the sedated hearing test during the procedure and having his frenulum clipped. i'm so so so scared and sad for my little guy, but i know we're doing the right thing and i know he'll get through it like a champ. my doc gave me some xanax to get me through it! LOL! i probably won't use it, but i like knowing it's there...

we had professional pics of the kids done last weekend because PC's face is about to change forever! here's my favorite shot!

Aw, Megs, I'm so excited for y'all! I can't imagine how nervous you must be (Avery hasn't even had a shot yet, so I know I would be freaking out over surgery), but I truly believe it's all going to work out fine. My thoughts and prayers are with you all...I'm sure he'll do great!

And can you BELIEVE our babies are already 5 months old?!? I got to see a newborn Wednesday night, and it was absolutely unbelievable how big DS is already!

not much time to update, but we're home sooner than expected and doing fine. it was a ROUGH day, but we're very glad to be home. right now PC won't feed, so please send some feeding vibes! he's in a lot of pain/discomfort and it's hard to watch! these next few days are gonna be hard, but we're glad that he did well with the anesthesia and the procedure itself.
