I invited the 8 other boys in DS's preK class over to get reaquainted before school starts. They are ALL coming! ACK! I billed it as a pizza and movie afternoon from 11 to 1. The pizza and popcorn part is easy... what movie should I show?

I was thinking Shrek, but I bet most boys have seen it already. Then I was thinking Hercules (the disney version) but it might be too... what's the word... dorky??? Then I thought of Cars, but they've ALL probably seen it.

HELP!

Thanks!!

My boys love "Valiant" which features the voice of Ewan McGregor and it's about carrier pigeons in WW2. Actually loosely based on true events. It's a cartoon.

Another one my boys absolutely adore (and so do I) is "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit". It is adorable and not at all scary like the title suggests.

Another one that is cute is "Dougal." It's also an animated one and features the voice of Jon Stewart.

Those are the only ones I can think of that A)the boys might not have seen before and B)aren't too scary for preschoolers. It is so hard to find movies for little kids that aren't scary. These 3 are pretty tame.

Don't worry about finding something none of them have seen. Remember how sick you are of reading the same book over and over and over? At this age, they *want* the same stuff a bazillion times. It is how they learn, and it doesn't get old for them. I would bet that any movie your son loves, they will all love.

And don't be too surprised if they don't actually watch the movie anyway. But isn't that sort of the whole point of getting them together?

What about toy story? My kids love it and it's been awhile since it's been on the market so maybe they haven't all seen it.

We went to several free movies this summer so I have a few in mind. How about Curious George? Barnyard(really loved that one)?Charlotte's Web? These were all ones that 3-7Yo's I was with weren't afraid of at all. Ice Age:The Meltdown caused fleeing from the theater at times. ;)

Can't remember anymore but hth. Have fun!

I love them most when they are sleeping.--Me
