I got some really cute personalized tshirts to use as favors for my daughter's birthday from speckledsunshine. (www.speckledsunshine.etsy.com)

They are hand painted.

They have held up well, and Taryn was really AWESOME to work with. She currently has (among many other designs) an appliqued cupcake shirt that I am thinking of getting for my other daughter's birthday.

These are my girls in the shirts from Abigail's party- it was a parade:

I can't wait to see all the responses to this thread. I'm relatively new to etsy, but I've placed 1/2 dozen orders from superflykidz

http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5058462

She makes personalized capes for kids with emlems like superhero shields, princess crowns, etc. These are our new standard birthday party gift. She's very fast and very easy to work with.

Those capes are great! I was just browsing etsy tonight and saw some capes by a different seller and thought that it would be a really good birthday gift idea. I'm going to have to keep it in mind. Thanks!

I have bought the capes mentioned above - adorable!

Also, I just ordered a scrabble pendant from the following seller...

www.littleputbooks.etsy.com

I also love the car litter bag I bought from Allyson Hill...

www.allysonhill.etsy.com

I bought some crayon rolls that hold around 24 crayons from this seller that makes a lot of items with a Hawaii theme. The kids love them.

www.BabyDoesTheHula.etsy.com

Finally, the shirts I bought DS from Circular Accesories are so unique and they have been a big hit with him.

Chimy's Clips

I'm a huge fan of simple pinafores in modern fabrics for my picky dresser.

I loved Lassiegirl's stuff:

How do you wear pinafores? Do you put something underneath like a diaper cover? Do you put a shirt or blouse underneath during colder months?

Those are cute! I was just wondering how DD might wear them.

Thanks!

Jenny

I noticed those last night while I was etsy surfing in the children's section. They are adorable! I love the fabrics and that they are reversible! Do you pair them with leggings and a shirt underneath for cooler weather? I might need to order one for DD. Just trying to figure out how to wear them since the back is so open.

TIA!

ETA: I guess I was posting at the same time as PP. Great minds... :)

To be honest, I'm waiting for my first order. I usually do shirts under pinnies. I have lots of leggings/capris I think will work with this style. If they were still in diapers, I think I would have been OK with just a cute diaper cover when it was warm.

My twins are really skinny so we live in a-line pinnies with various shirts- peter pan, t's, turtlenecks year round.

I just ordered the carnival pinafore and matching hair clips. :) It is just too cute! I traded some messages with the seller, Ashley, and she was very nice. This is what it looks like:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6772565

I think I'll pair it with brown leggings and a solid shirt in one of the colors from the print.

I thought it was too, so I convo'd the seller through etsy. (There is a button to click to 'convo'.) She has more fabric, just needs to post another one for sale. She was very nice!

I just bought a flannel blanket from this seller; she was *fantastic* to work with, and she made me a pillowcase and carryall bag in the matching fabric. I can't wait to get this. This will be for DS' preschool. :)
