We are currently on vacation and I thought I did a great job of keeping him covered and shaded ... plus I put sunscreen on him, but his arm still got a little red. What should I put on it now? I feel so bad!

TIA!

You know, I'd just give him a little tylenol to help with the pain. You could also call your ped. and ask if it's ok to use a little spray solarcaine. I've had many, many sunburns in my life. Some of them rather sever and I can tell you that the solarcaine works wonders if your little guy is in pain. If it's just a little red and not blistering or peeling then I'd stick with the tylenol. He'll be ok in a day or so.
You could try an alo vera gel also but in my experience they just aren't as good as the solarcaine at relieving the pain. When dd got her first bad sunburn at about 2 we used it,works instantly. hth

The solarcaine did the trick - thanks!
