Question about UTI or bladder infections...

Can a UTI or bladder infection cause you to miss your period? I've taken a pregnancy test and it's negative. I'm having other symptoms that makes me think I probably have a UTI or bladder infection (I've never had one). Also can a UTI or bladder infection make you feel bloated... almost like you are pregnant?

I'm going to the doctor on Monday. Just thought I'd see if anyone could give me some advice or information.
