Even though some scientists (including one in this article) say that there is no proof that an increased level of chemicals means an increase in health problems, I think MOST of us realize that an increased level of industrial chemicals cannot be a good thing. Granted, there aren't enough studies to prove a correlation, but common sense tells me that those chemicals are probably having some impact on my children. I think looking at it any other way is like burying your head in the sand.

It's funny, I was just thinking the other day that our society is probably due for another cultural revolution like the one that took place in the 60's. Back then, people were beginning to realize that they weren't always being told the truth by the government and many people began to question its authority and power in many ways. I think that we are more and more beginning to do that with large corporations. With money comes power and with power comes responsibility. So many large organizations need to be forced to take responsibility for the impact their products have. But that's just my socialist point of view. ;).
