Website for what germs/bugs are going around?

I know this may sound odd, but is there a website that talks about what germs/bugs are going around? For instance, my friend in the midwest had her son vomiting a few weeks ago. My friend in CA had her dd sick this week. Now my dd has it in AZ. Basically it is the same thing, one day and that's it. Now that the cold and flu season is coming up, it would be nice to know what is in store for me.
