View Full Version : ***We just went on a Pirate Treasure Chest hunt!!***

Earlier today, my DH went outside and buried a Pirate Treasure
Chest in the woods of our backyard.

Tonight after dinner, we got our coats, flashlights, and
shovels (just in case we got lucky) and headed outside.

We were following an old treasure map to locate the buried
treasure.

My DH had carved arrows on trees pointing the way and he
had arranged rocks on the ground into a skull & crossbones.

Finally, we got to this big tree with an arrow pointing down
and there was a big "X" on the ground. :)

My DH and the kids starting digging.

And, guess what? We found the buried Pirate Treasure Chest!

The kids were so excited. It was GREAT!

Oh, Man!!! That sounds like so much fun! So what was in the Treasure Chest? Gold? Pearls?

It was the Melissa & Doug Pirate Treasure Chest.

My brother is coming to visit us in December and he wants
to do a Treasure hunt. :) I plan to add more things
to the chest next time.
