DS attends a group center in NYC which is very expensive, but I know for a fact the teachers are paid like crap. This will be his first holiday in day care, so I don't know what is an appropriate amount to spend for his caregivers. There are three in his room, and a part-time person in the afternoons. Does anyone have recommendations on the appropriate amount to spend?
