Not sure if I shared before.

Getting into the season, Grandma informed me she accomplished her mission for this year. Each year she buys the kids an ornament of whatever they were for halloween. She puts it in a labeled box so they can remember years down the road why this is part of their collection. When the boys are grown, they should have a fun collection : )

What a cute idea! And unlike the "dated" ornaments you could go back and buy the ones you missed if you start late.

Very cute. My MIL bought DD an ornament of what she was for Halloween. I think this would be a wonderful tradition.

DH and I like this idea and we can go back and cover the first 3 years, but this year DS was a garbage man. I actually found a garbage man ornament on ebay but DH doesn't like it so we're thinking of hot gluing a hook onto a hot wheels/matchbox garbage truck.

Do you have them in a box for each year, or one box marked "what I was for halloween ornaments" or some such?

Thanks for the idea!

They are each in gift boxes themselves, the size of the ornament, and this year I will pick them away in their own Christmas Ornament storage boxes. I think they will have fun unpacking them annually.
