moving and need new email provider... please help

We are moving to our new house next week, and our current email service is with our home phone carrier. Since the new town has a different phone company, we have decided to just use our cellphones at our new house until we get settled.

My mom lives in our new town, so I'll be able to use her computer to check email, etc until we get a new Internet provider.

So... I need a new email address/provider. Years ago, I had a Hotmail account, but before I get an account with them again, I thought I would check with you guys to see if there is someone better...

Any help would be appreciated.

I like Gmail. I have Hotmail, Yahoomail etc etc etc too but I always go back to my Gmail account for web based email.

5th vote! I WILL add that it takes getting used to, if you are familiar with hotmail. but the learning curve is short and well worth it.
