Hi,

My daughter just turned 1 and needs her first pair of shoes....but her feet are so narrow!

What brands offer good shoes for narrow baby feet?

Thanks,

Marlene

My daughter, who is now 3, has always worn Stride Rite shoes on her narrow feet. During her second year I tried to find other brands that would fit her, but always ended up with Stride Rite. They are quality shoes and are pricey if you don't find them on sale. I'm jealous of mothers whose kids can wear Target or Walmart brand shoes, but you definitely need to get shoes that fit.

My 7yo has this problem, she's never had a chubby baby foot..always been hard to get shoes that fit her properly still isn't the most simple.

Anyhow stride rite is one, she usually wears their 'slim' width or she can wear their canvas line. Some keds are also ok..of coarse they are stride rite so that i bet has alot to do with it!

Minibel is another brand that may also work my 4yo uses them sometimes, she isn't as narrow as the 7yo but has very tiny heals and borders on being a 'm' width.

Stride rite lists on their site which styles come in narrow...i usually go with their natural motion system for kids till they reach an 8 size..

I've been lucky with my third he started off in wide stride rites and now at 2 has dropped to a medium width so finally a normal width foot LOL

Oh as to deals....sorry i have no tips there......canvas you get for a bit less i notice stride rite does have some now in the natural motion system so they should be a bit less $$.

My kids have a small fortune in shoes...but they have happy feet ;)
