This is the first year that I think sunglasses and hats are going to be EASY with Arielle. :) She loves her wearing her sunhat or baseball cap, and won't take her sunglasses off when we get home. Problem is, the pair of sunglasses I have for her are too small now (and I'd like to give them to the baby). Both girls are fair skinned and have light hair, so I splugred last year and got Arielle the Baby Banz from OSA for $14.95. They have a wraparound band so she couldn't (easily) pull them off, which I liked. But now they are too small. OSA makes a Kid Banz version for the same price:

And also makes these for $9.95:

My inclination is to get the cheaper ones but with our upcoming move down South I think she'll be getting a lot of use out of them. I know I hated to wear sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses as a kid (still do!) but if she's being accomodating I want to cultivate it!:)

Anyone have either of these, or have any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Edited because smiley faces didn't work!

Hi Rachel!

I can't give you any advice on the particular glasses you mentioned (Tom's prescription glasses have Transitions darkening lenses) but I would recommend you try to find the Kid Banz locally and see if Arielle will be comfortable wearing the strap. She might not like it - I never had luck with Tom wearing a strap on his glasses. Then again, she might not mind.

Take care!

Just wanted to update on my original search! I ended up ordering the $9.95 pair from OSA and wanted to rave about how great they are! The are described unbendable and flexible, and I was a little wary of just how toddler-proof they are. But Arielle tested their durability out (immediately:) ) and they really do seem unbreakable. Definitely worth the extra few dollars from a TCP/Gap/Gymboree pair to have good protection, imo. Hope this helps others, too!
