My daughter will be 3 next month. She weighs about 40 lbs and is also at the top of the height chart. Up until now, she's mostly worn Gymboree jeans and pants. She's still squeezing into a couple pairs of 3Ts, but they are getting too short and tight.

I'm having a hard time finding jeans and button pants for fall (we're doing OK with Gymboree stretch pants). She's still wearing a diaper and kind of still has the toddler body, so the Gymboree size 4 doesn't really fit in the jeans and button pants. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to find jeans and button pants for "big" girls?

Thanks,
Kathy

Both Lands End and Hanna do a good job of leaving diaper room. Both have a lot of options with elastic. I think I'd try one or both of those. Gap also goes up to 5T in the toddler sizes, have you tried there? It might be easiest to check there first.

Hope that helps a bit!

Just so you know, Gap has never fit DS in the waist unless it's all elastic. It kind of cracks me up because the same size Gap shirt is big on him but the waist of the pants doesn't fit. I imagine we'll have the same issue as he gets older because Gymboree pants do fit him well. Target stuff works pretty well for him.

Good luck,

I'd say gap also, my dd who is 6 next month is 43lbs and 42.5in she fits their 5T and even then we use the adjustable waist features :D
