I really like the Gymboree gripper socks. They are thick and the grip on them works really well. I take DH to an indoor playground and he can't climb on the equipment with regular socks. The Gymboree socks don't come in sizes larger than 3T. I ordered 3 pairs from Hannah and was very disappointed for the amount of money spent ($8/pair). The socks were of good quality and there is lots of so called gripper on them. The material they use for the gripper just doesn't work well. It's more plasticy than rubbery. Children's Place has some that are a bit better but the overall quality is rather poor.

Any ideas? I'm about ready to go to a fabric store and buy the paints and make them myself if I have to.

Thanks,

Michelle

Have you looked at The Gap or Old Navy? They aren't as thick as Gymboree, but they are still pretty nice.

Children's Place has then to 4T, Gap has them to 5T. Hanna is the only place I know of that has them in larger sizes than that.
