DS has been wearing Hanes undershirts for quite some time now, but I'd like to know if there is a softer/better quality alternative. LE does not make undershirts and I'm at a loss as to where to buy them. Any assistance or suggestions will be appreciated!

Hanna Andersson has nice undies for boys. Nothing cheap, though!!

JC Penney carries a Carter's line for Toddlers, but I've not seen these in real life, so I can't vouch for their quality. In general I've not been dissapointed with Carters when he was an infant.

I bought some at our Carter's store. They seem like typical undershirts to me...not especially thick. Probably similiar to the Hanes ones. I can't vouce for durability...Ds hasn't worn it yet as I only bought one to go under a light shirt for a wedding. Since he overheats easily, I'm happy it's thin.
