Has anyone used this?

I'm considering getting one for Alia but wanted some opinions first. Thanks!

Why not just get one of the ones that sits on the toilet? We have two and they work fine. One came with our Graco potty and the other is a cheap one from Target. DD likes that they have handles.

I think I paid about that price for the Blue's Clues potty insert at Target, perhaps a bit less. And, as Beth mentioned, we have another one that is the seat to Lindsey's potty. It just pops in and out of the potty.

Frankly, I like the inserts we have because they are padded, and I think that makes it more comfortable for a young bottom just getting used to sitting on the potty. Plus, Lindsey loves Blue's Clues, so the Blue seat was a motivational tool in the beginning to get her to sit on the potty. However, we do have to remove the inserts to put down the toilet seat, so the Flip 'n Flush might have an advantage in that respect. We usually just set them on top of the wastebaskets, but it still kind of bugs me to see them sitting there.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up ordering them and returning them - they wouldn't fit with the toilet seat we have (the top of the seat curves in and you couldn't lift anything up)!

I purchased a padded insert (one of the Blue's Clues ones) but she's really too short to be standing on the stool and trying to go by herself. So we're back to the Bjorn potty (we put the Totco potty in the upstairs bathroom - it was too involved to dump it out every time).

I ordered them and they don't fit on any toilet in our house. And our toilets are pretty much 'builder standard' -- nothing fancy about them.

I think it's a great concept because you can keep the lid closed -- a priority in our house, but if they won't fit a 'standard toilet', what's the use?
