Potty troubles--I think I bought the wrong one

I am *trying* to start potty training w/DD. We are not having the greatest success and I think some of it may be due to the potty seat I have. I have the Fisher Price Step-n-Stool. When she sits on it, she pushes her butt all the way to the back, so when she poops, she has to stand up b/c her bottom is not over the hole. I've tried to redirect her, but she always sits at the back.

Is there a potty seat that is shaped differently and would help w/this?

I'm not sure. I've got the Graco and the First Years - the Graco definitely has "slide room," but I don't think the FY one does (got it at Target). Mostly, though, I'd probably just show her how you sit on the toilet - not leaning back, or all the way at the back. It's probably just a matter of getting her used to sitting over the hole, rather than all the way back. Our Graco one has handles on the side that Ainsleigh likes to hold onto - especially when her bum was smaller and legs shorter and she'd have to balance herself more on the ring.
